Sunday, July 20th, 2008I want everyone to begin by reading this, so that I may begin by saying this:
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH EVERYONE?!?!
We live in a country (and world) where we go to war over false pretenses, where members of the same sex are looked down upon (sometimes beaten to death) for wanting to share their lives together, where people like PETA can get people to blindly follow their “ethical” treatment of animals statements/policies, where people are starving and/or being euthanized for selfish gain, where having an R or a D in front of your political beliefs somehow magically dictates whether or not you can run a country well, and where people honestly believe that gun control is a bad thing.
…and instead of rallying behind a worthy cause; instead of choosing to help people and do something selfless in life to prove that we, as human beings, are capable of being worth a damn - we’re going to rally together in the name of Starbucks? and why? because I want my god damned morning coffee!!
